Thank you for contacting the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Ltd (LOCOG).
Following the Beijing Handover Ceremonies last summer, our ceremonies team have been reading all the comments we have received with real interest and excitement. To see so much passion, so many great ideas and such thought being invested is wonderful - thank you.
This year, we will begin to put together plans for the major ceremonies in 2012. Clearly the experience in Beijing was full of learning, but your comments, thoughts and ideas are just as important and what weve seen so far bodes really well for a healthy discussion and debate over the next few years.
Whilst we cannot comment or keep on file individual creative suggestions, at this stage we would urge you to keep in touch with plans and updates on activity via the London 2012 website (www.london2012.com). As we move forward, we will post further information on the website and any opportunities for involvement will also be highlighted here.
